Motorelli is proud to be part of a recent successful 160kW Hybrid Solar VSD Panel installation in Mucheke, Zimbabwe. The 160kW Hybrid Solar VSD Panel had to be delivered to a mine in Zimbabwe on a very tight schedule. Due to Motorelli’s quick turnaround time, the VSD Panel was swiftly manufactured and delivered to the site.

Our customer required commissioning assistance and the Motorelli VSD specialist assisted with on-site support to perform the required testing, and to ensure smooth start up and running operation. Despite challenging weather conditions and inconsistent supply of AC supply, Motorelli managed to complete the DC tests. The AC tests was completed once the supply stabilized. Full capacity of the system was reached at 50HZ, with the river pump delivering around 8 bar of pressure over 11km of pipeline with an outlet pressure of 2 bar – well within the required performance range.

This project showcased Motorelli’s Efficiency, Technical Expertise, and commitment to supporting customers beyond just supplying equipment. A well-executed hybrid solar VSD installation is a powerful step toward energy-efficient and reliable pumping solutions, even in challenging environments.
