Humble Beginnings
From humble beginnings in 1996 as a family business in Cape Town, Motorelli has now grown to one of the largest electric motors, VSD and Gearbox suppliers in South Africa. We service the whole of Africa with quality products, professional service, and expert advice from our branches throughout South Africa.
At Motorelli we aim to provide a service that exceeds your expectations by selling quality products that meet your every requirement. We offer competitive prices with outstanding back-up service and technical support.
Our products are manufactured in China at a high-tech facility which occupies more than 25 thousand square meters. The Motorelli factory complies with various international standard including IEC, ISO9001:2000, SABS, CCC, CECP and CE.
The Motorelli factory manufactures products for export to Europe, America, Russia, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. As different countries have varying specifications, the facility allows us to stipulate specific manufacturing requirements for materials used as well as critical dimensions and performance values. This results in our products being specifically designed for the South African Mining, Agriculture, OEM, Industrial, Marine and Air conditioning markets.
This is all done with the use of High-efficiency automated production lines that make use of the latest machinery, testing facilities, and quality control procedures.
Our entire range of products meets the highest quality standards and all our products are certified to SABS 1804 certification.

Pricing
Our Motors
We stock the full range of SABS approved motors from 0.18kw through to 355kw and larger motors up to 15 000 kw are available on request from the factory.
The motors are available at various speeds, 2 pole, 4 pole, 6 pole and 8 pole again higher or lower speed motors are available on request. The motors are foot or foot and flange mounted. They are supplied as three phase 400V/550V or single phase 230V motors.
