These unique motors are used on scraper winches to remove stone, rock and rubble in the mine tunnels. These are high torque, heavy duty, steel frame electric motors which we have been supplying to the mining industry for over 20 years. Our winch motors range from 37kw to 75kw at 550v and 1000v. The Motorelli scraper winch motor is SABS approved as well as Anglo American approved, and allows for a 2 minute locked rotor time.
